Wholesale Partner Requirements

How our wholesale program works and what is required from all partners.

To maintain consistent quality, efficient logistics, and our high live-arrival standards, all wholesale partners must meet the following requirements. These guidelines ensure we can plan, pack, and export livestock safely and reliably.

Minimum Order Requirement

All wholesale orders require a minimum order value of $1,000.

Box Capacity Standards

Each shipping box holds up to 4 bags.

Orders must use full box capacity for shipping stability and livestock protection.

Catalog pricing is already set per bag (e.g., Ranchu 2.00" Body – 15 per Bag × $25 each).

Shipping Policy for Live Animals

All live fish are shipped Next Day Air only.

We do not offer 2-Day Air, USPS, or any slower services for live animals due to perishability.

Dry Goods & Transshipping

Dry goods do not require Next Day Air.

Shipping speed for these orders is negotiated at the time of ordering based on weight and method.

These services follow separate logistics planning from livestock shipments.

Order Lead Time

All livestock wholesale orders must be placed 2–3 weeks in advance.

This ensures proper export preparation, packing, and scheduling.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We stand behind the health and quality of every shipment and offer a Live Arrival Guarantee for all livestock orders.


What Is Required for a Claim

To request a replacement or credit for any fish that arrive deceased, partners must provide:

  • Clear photos and videos of the deceased fish
  • Photos of the packaging and shipping label
  • Notification within 24 hours of delivery

Partner Account Inactivity Policy

Maintaining Active Partner Status

To ensure availability for committed wholesale partners and maintain limited partner capacity:

  • Accounts with extended inactivity will be reviewed.
  • We will contact the partner two times by email to check interest and confirm account status.
  • If no response or activity occurs after these two attempts, the account will be deactivated to make room for new approved partners on the waitlist.
  • Deactivated accounts may reapply in the future if space is available.

Limited Wholesale Partner Capacity

We only onboard a select number of new wholesale partners each quarter.

Blue Reef Live Logistics maintains strict partner limits to ensure reliability, consistency, and the highest live-arrival success rates. To protect our logistics precision, export scheduling, and livestock quality, we limit how many new wholesale clients we accept. Our program is currently at capacity, and new applicants must join the Priority Waitlist for approval. Approved partners will be contacted when a slot becomes available.
